| well, I probably have about 2 weeks left in oz, so I'm just trying to wrap up a couple of promised visits and stuff. I have an entirely new wardrobe, so I'll be stylin' at SPBC. speaking of NZ, I just recently sent out my latest newsletter to a couple of people (dad counted 200+) and I'm getting great responses from it. I am feelin' real blessed right about now, God's blessing. Thank you to all who contributed to my previous year and those who are continuing in prayer and financial support this year. This year I take up the children's friday arvo activities, as well as teaching the youth and chillaxing with them as well of course. I'm really looking forward to saving $30 a week in rent because we have 3 guys in our flat instead of 2, very cool. the other two are Jono Raine (probably the biggest champion you'll ever meet!) and a guy from the South Island (Gore) which will be good times had by all. what I am not keen on is learning to get over myself (ask me and I'll tell you), having to spend at least one night a week with a guy I feel a good deal of bitterness towards and well, I can't quite pinpoint it but I'm actually getting kinda depressed about somethings to do with ministry and spirituality. on a more positive note, and an awesome one at that: I preached for the second time at the Hills Church of Christ (my home congregation in Australia) and not only did the members get a whole lot out of it (that's God, not me) but Todd and Kara were there to support me, and this random guy called John was visiting the library, looked at the different things going on, saw a Church Of Christ was meeting on a different level of the building (away from most everything else) and came to check it out, heard me preach and he came and sat down. He told me that not only did he really enjoy what I was talking about, he had spoken about the same thing (no fear in Christ) in a ministry meeting he had at his congregation (what an absolute God deal!). not only that, he's said he's going to come back. The church is so excited to have Stuart Penhall preach for us this sunday, what a blessing!
ok, well I hope to get some random photos up soon.
Much love and good wishes,
